This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Engages with Charlie Health clients through one-on-one peer discussions on secure platforms to ensure alignment with treatment goals and participation in programming.
• Delivers skill-based interventions designed to stabilize clients during moments of elevated stress.
• Conducts risk screenings and develops safety plans, escalating to crisis clinicians as necessary.
• Remains a resource during programming to sustain client engagement throughout the treatment process.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or a related social/mental health field is required, along with relevant certifications (Certified Peer Specialist - nationally or state accredited).
• Preference will be given to second-year Master's students.
• Prior experience working with young adults and adolescents in both individual and group settings is highly desirable (Inpatient, IOP, PHP, or RTC).
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in roles such as mental health peer support, mentor, skills trainer, or mental health associate.
• Candidate must reside in Oregon.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with knowledge of professional board standards pertaining to client treatment, rights, and confidentiality.
• Must be enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment and play a vital role in facilitating successful patient treatment.
• This is a part-time W2 position.
• Candidates must be available for a minimum of 10 hours per week, working at least 3 days a week with 3-3.5 hour shifts each day.
• Care Coaches must be available during the following time frames:
• Mon-Thurs: 9:45 AM - 2 PM MT & 3:45 PM - 9 PM MT
• Fri: 4:45 PM - 8 PM MT
• Sat: 8:45 AM - 3 PM MT
• Availability must not drop below 10 hours; hours can increase up to 28 hours weekly. It is essential that the availability agreed upon at hire is maintained throughout employment.
• Must have access to reliable WiFi to work in a remote and confidential environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and possess native or bilingual proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with cloud-based communication and software such as Slack, Dropbox, Gmail, Zoom, Google Drive, and EMR is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel or Google Sheets, is necessary.
