Cardiovascular Program Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver expert clinical assistance, education, and training to physicians, nurses, and hospital personnel regarding the utilization of DaVinci cardiac surgery, devices, and therapies.

• Collaborate closely with the Cardiovascular Sales Manager to ensure the safe and effective adoption of products while promoting favorable patient outcomes.

• Provide on-site support during procedures in the operating room or hybrid OR for robotic cardiac surgeries and technologies.

• Ensure adherence to clinical and safety guidelines.

• Work with cross-functional internal teams to identify and leverage opportunities for enhancing the application of the da Vinci® Surgical Systems.

• Conduct training sessions for physicians and care teams on the proper use of robotic platforms.

• Serve as a resource for continuous education and product updates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years in a clinical role related to cardiac care (with cardiac surgery experience preferred).

• Previous experience as a CVOR physician assistant, first assist, surgical nurse, plus industry experience is highly preferred.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required (preferably in a science or business discipline).

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Life Sciences, or a related field is mandatory.

• Advanced degrees (such as RN, PA, NP, RT, or other clinical credentials) are preferred.

• Profound understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and interventional procedures.

• Demonstrate knowledge of standard hospital policies.

• Exceptional communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong abilities in problem-solving and troubleshooting.

• Capability to perform in high-pressure settings such as the OR or Cath lab.

• Flexibility to adapt to advancing technologies and complex procedures.

• Team-oriented with a commercial outlook.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% within the country.
