• Submit clean and precise claims for cardiology services.
• Oversee and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims, including handling appeals and payer follow-up.
• Analyze EOBs and remittance advice to identify denial patterns and underlying causes.
• Resolve claims while adhering to established revenue cycle KPIs (e.g., first-pass acceptance rate, denial turnaround time, AR days).
• Utilize eClinicalWorks EMR for charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting.
• Confirm insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements.
• Communicate with commercial payers, Medicare, and Medicaid to address claim issues.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain billing accuracy standards.
• Minimum of 3 years of billing experience in cardiology.
• Proven track record in denial management, appeals, and claims follow-up.
• Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and ADA coding standards.
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks or similar EMR systems.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated by KPIs.
