This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Foster customer engagement and enhance sales performance through effective in-person interactions within rare cardiac accounts.
• Establish strong, compliant relationships with healthcare professionals in cardiology, multidisciplinary care teams, and office personnel across assigned accounts.
• Communicate approved promotional and disease-state messages to encourage appropriate usage of Rare Cardiac products.
• Utilize product, disease, and market knowledge to pinpoint opportunities, prioritize accounts, and assist in patient identification and referral pathways.
• Aid patient access by providing necessary information on prior authorization protocols, reimbursement assistance, hubs, and co-pay resources as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs, eliminate access obstacles, and promote Rare Cardiac business goals.
• Employ digital tools and insights to strategize, implement, and enhance activities within the Rare Cardiac territory.
• Bachelor's degree OR an associate's degree combined with 8+ years of relevant work experience OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales; Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing; Experience with therapeutic-specific healthcare providers.
• A valid US driver's license and a driving record that aligns with company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will result in disqualification from employment.
• 3–5 years of specialty sales experience, ideally in Cardiology or Hospital settings.
• Strong comprehension of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement processes.
• Experience in engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts.
• Proven business acumen, data-driven decision-making skills, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proficient in digital engagement tools (e.g., Veeva Engage, Zoom).
