This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary liaison for consented patients throughout their treatment journey, from enrollment through the initiation and continuation of therapy.

• Perform assessments to identify patient needs, addressing issues related to coverage, affordability, and logistical barriers for consented patients.

• Facilitate care coordination among healthcare providers, caregivers, and care sites to ensure a seamless and timely therapy progression for consented patients.

• Take responsibility for the complete progression of patients from start to finish.

• Serve as a field-based authority on reimbursement, coverage pathways, and payer policies affecting Pfizer therapies.

• Offer assistance regarding the prior authorization process, including step edits, coding, and payer-specific requirements.

• Aid in resolving reimbursement challenges through appropriate escalation and coordination.

• Provide compliant education about reimbursement processes, coverage pathways, and available patient access resources.

• Design and implement account-level access strategies to enhance patient access at a larger scale.

• Collaborate with payer organizations to clarify coverage policies and assist in resolving access challenges.

• Share actionable insights regarding payer trends, reimbursement issues, and access barriers with internal stakeholders.

• Work in partnership with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, and Patient Solutions teams to ensure cohesive execution of access strategies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or related customer-facing roles/functions.

• At least 1 year of experience in an Access and Reimbursement support position.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Specialty Pharma, ideally within the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical sectors, Provider/Carrier Networks, or Government Agencies.

• Comprehensive understanding of Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, and Co-Pay Assistance Programs.

• Familiarity with Specialty policy dynamics in the Rare Disease Community.

• Proven leadership abilities and success in working collaboratively across internal divisions.

• A valid US driver’s license and a driving record that meets company standards.

• Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citations within the last 7 years will disqualify candidates from employment.
