Cardiac Access Care Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the main contact for consented patients throughout their treatment journey, from enrollment to the initiation and continuation of therapy.

• Perform assessments to identify patient needs, focusing on coverage, affordability, and logistical barriers to access for consented patients.

• Help coordinate care among healthcare providers, caregivers, and care sites to ensure a smooth and timely transition to therapy for consented patients.

• Serve as a field-based authority on reimbursement, coverage pathways, and payer policies that affect Pfizer therapies.

• Provide compliant education regarding reimbursement processes, coverage pathways, and resources for patient access.

• Create and implement account-level access strategies to enhance patient access on a larger scale.

• Interact with payer organizations when necessary to clarify coverage policies and assist in resolving access issues.

• Work collaboratively with Sales, Key Account Managers, Marketing, and Patient Solutions teams to ensure cohesive execution of access strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical or related fields, particularly in customer-facing roles/functions.

• At least 1 year of experience in an Access and Reimbursement support position.

• A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Specialty Pharma, ideally within the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical sectors, Provider/Carrier Networks, or Government Agencies.

• In-depth knowledge of Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, and Co-Pay Assistance Programs.

• Proven experience showcasing excellent communication and presentation skills, strategic planning, and successful implementation of plans.

• A valid US driver's license and a driving record that complies with company standards.
