This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assist in the implementation of the client's annual capital strategy, emphasizing careful expense management and oversight.
• Create, document, and enhance capital planning processes, incorporating industry-leading practices and innovative methods.
• Utilize diverse systems and technologies to promote operational efficiency, improve data accuracy, and boost transparency.
• Convert strategic objectives into actionable projects in collaboration with the client and pipeline manager, ensuring a forward-thinking, multi-year project pipeline.
• Oversee a varied project portfolio that includes corporate offices, infrastructure, critical environments, and retail, ensuring alignment with the client's expense management strategy.
• Manage the intake, assessment, and prioritization of planned and ad-hoc projects, offering creative solutions to optimize client results.
• Collaborate with the JLL Finance team and project analyst to enhance budgeting precision, improve forecasting, and produce high-quality financial reports.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of project and account-level financials, ensuring proactive alignment between project budgets and the client's overall financial objectives through close coordination with Finance.
• Generate client deliverables, dashboards, and analytical outputs in partnership with BI and Finance teams.
• Integrate capital planning and project data from JLL, the Finance team, and other service providers, ensuring data accuracy and continuity.
• Encourage proactive stakeholder engagement and facilitate integration across service providers and internal JLL functions.
• Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging financial and analytical insights to support swift, informed client decisions.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture among the client, JLL account teams (including Finance and Analytics), and partner organizations.
• Formulate and execute effective communication strategies to further account and client objectives.
• Advocate for the adoption of new tools, technologies, and process enhancements, promoting continuous improvement throughout the account.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, engineering, real estate, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in capital planning, portfolio management, or financial management within real estate or facilities environments.
• Extensive knowledge of capital planning methodologies, with demonstrated expertise in expense-driven project and portfolio execution.
• Strong financial acumen, with a proven record in forecasting, budgeting, and project financials, along with experience working directly with finance teams and analysts.
• Proficient in multiple systems and technologies that support process efficiency, data integration, analytics, and reporting. Technologies include AdaptiveWork, Ingenious, Smartsheet, Corrigo, and E1.
• Advanced capabilities in data analysis, dashboard/report creation (Power BI or similar), and data-driven reporting.
• Proven ability to build consensus, guide cross-functional teams, and facilitate effective decision-making at all organizational levels.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, focusing on impactful, clear, and transparent messaging.
