
Canadian Immigration Clerk, Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Prepare and draft applications for Canadian immigration and necessary documentation, such as work permits, LMIA applications, permanent residency applications, and other submissions to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
• Review and evaluate supporting documents provided by clients to ensure they are complete, accurate, and comply with relevant immigration regulations.
• Conduct legal and policy research related to Canadian immigration programs, procedures, and eligibility requirements under the guidance of attorneys or senior legal professionals.
• Assist attorneys and consultants in case preparation by drafting legal submissions and gathering evidence to support applications.
• Communicate with clients to collect necessary documentation and provide updates about case status and filing requirements.
• Monitor critical deadlines related to filings, renewals, and compliance matters.
• Maintain precise case records and promptly update internal case management systems consistently.
• Aid in preparing responses to additional information requests from government authorities.
• Utilize internal technology platforms, including WRapid and other case management tools, to monitor case progress and manage documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field.
• 5-7 years of experience in supporting Canadian immigration, particularly with work permit applications, is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Canadian immigration processes and government filing requirements.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
