• Assist in the formulation and implementation of a thorough campus recruitment strategy for Technology positions, ensuring it aligns with Humana's overall hiring objectives and business requirements.
• Oversee and coordinate recruiting efforts on-campus and virtually at 15-20 targeted educational institutions, including networking events, guest speaker sessions, informational gatherings, club activities, and other initiatives to draw in a high caliber of applicants.
• Develop and maintain robust relationships with key university career centers, professors, student organizations, tech clubs, and other academic collaborators to position Humana as a premier employer for IT and technology talent.
• Represent Humana at career fairs, networking events, and informational sessions.
• Identify, engage, and recruit top candidates for internships and entry-level technology roles across various technical fields, such as software engineering, data science, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and more.
• Spearhead campus initiatives and create compelling recruitment marketing materials, presentations, and post-event follow-up communications to attract talent.
• Evaluate resumes, issue HireVue assessments, and manage initial candidate interactions.
• Monitor and report on recruiting metrics, providing consistent updates on recruitment progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Utilize market insights to advise hiring managers on potential obstacles and formulate strategies to sway candidates' decisions to join.
• Assess the effectiveness of the campus recruiting program and identify opportunities for growth using internal data.
• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in campus recruitment, talent acquisition, recruiting partnerships, or university relations, with a focus on Technology recruitment.
• Willingness to travel 70% of the time from September to mid-October and 50% from February to March (peak on-campus events).
• Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with universities, faculty, and student organizations.
• Must reside in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a setting with competing priorities.
