This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver prompt, courteous, and precise responses to public inquiries, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
• Communicate exclusively approved and verified information to the public, ensuring clarity and compliance with company policies.
• Manage inbound and outbound customer service interactions through phone, email, or chat in a professional and timely manner.
• Accurately document all interactions in the company's system for tracking and auditing purposes.
• Stay informed of any updates to procedures, FAQs, or relevant information that needs to be conveyed to customers.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues that exceed standard parameters.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all necessary data protection guidelines during customer interactions.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• MUST possess an active secret clearance or have previously held one.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a high-volume or public-facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasizing the delivery of clear and accurate information.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to navigate various systems while maintaining customer focus.
• Capability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in high-stress situations.
• Self-discipline and effective time management skills essential for working independently in a remote environment.
• Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCV) are strongly encouraged to apply, although this is not a requirement.
• Experience in a virtual team or prior remote work experience is advantageous.
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred due to the diverse customer base.
