
Call Center Registered Nurse – Telephonic Injury Triage

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a swift influx of incoming phone calls from Medcor clients in a call center setting.
• Accurately and efficiently document each call.
• Track and monitor personal and call center performance metrics and statistics.
• Record all shift activities via the phone system while adhering to personal schedule commitments.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to Medcor clients and employees.
• Conduct precise assessments of symptoms and concerns using Medcor’s triage protocols.
• Adhere to HIPAA compliance regulations.
• Complete three weeks of classroom instruction followed by three weeks of practical training.
• Shift to a permanent overnight schedule between 11 p.m. and 9 a.m. following training.
• Participate in an every-other-weekend and holiday rotation.
• A valid RN license is required.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification is necessary.
• Capability to manage a high volume of consecutive calls.
• Strong proficiency in technology.
• Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
• Willingness to work during major U.S. holidays.
• Availability to work every other weekend.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret triage tools and information, providing care instructions.
• Must be able to talk and/or hear.
• Capability to sit and use hands effectively.
• Close vision required for computer and written tasks, with the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
• A private home workspace with four walls and a door for patient privacy is essential.
• Access to high-speed internet, excluding satellite, within the primary residence is required.
• Openness to receiving and applying feedback.
• Successful completion of a six-week training program, which takes place Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT.
• Prior call center experience is advantageous.
• Occupational health experience is beneficial.
