CAD Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide support to a worldwide team of mechanical, electrical, and environmental engineers, construction specialists, project managers, and site operations professionals.

• Aid the team with updates to drawings.

• Evaluate CAD applications through testing.

• Execute CAD length calculations and conduct quality assessments.

• Carry out quality checks on both existing and upcoming tools.

• Work collaboratively with various teams to implement components.

• Assist in formulating procedures for future IT deployments for clients.

• Design cable tray layouts for data centers, networks, or labs.

• Provide support and backup for team Project Managers.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a recognized four-year institution and 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• Foster productive working relationships both internally and externally.

• Exercise discretion within established procedures and practices to identify the appropriate course of action.

• Comprehend complex spreadsheets.

• Ability to collaborate with a geographically dispersed team.

• Capability to interact with a variety of technical and non-technical groups across all levels of the organization.

• Possess excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.

• Knowledge of at least two of the following: server hardware and software; network hardware and software; data center infrastructure and operations; mechanical and electrical systems.

• Ability to perform office-related tasks, which may include extended periods of sitting or standing.

• Ability to navigate within an office environment.

• Proficiency in using a computer.

• Strong communication skills.
