CAD Support Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive documentation packages for PCBs.

• Execute component placement and intricate routing in accordance with electrical, mechanical, and thermal specifications.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams to address design challenges.

• Validate layouts utilizing ODB++ and ensure compliance with DFM standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in Cadence Allegro and various PCB CAD software tools.

• A diploma in Electrical/Electronic Technology or CAD, with over 5 years of experience in PCB layout.

• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in collaborative team settings.

• Excellent manual routing capabilities and a solid understanding of constraint management.

• Familiarity with PCB design workflows, high-speed routing, impedance control, stack-ups, EMC/EMI considerations, and manufacturability.
