CAD Operator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop or adjust pre/post-construction drawings by utilizing existing drawing files and/or sketches provided by others.

• Collaborate with designers and project managers to discuss and interpret design plans, establishing the requirements for detailed working drawings.

• Prepare detailed and assembly drawings for construction, which include wiring schematics (line drawings).

• Generate indexing, legends, sheet sets, and/or bill of materials for designs.

• Keep current with industry and engineering standards.

• Uphold Wachter’s standards of quality and professionalism in terms of workmanship, customer relations, interactions with coworkers, behavior, and appearance.

• Carry out additional duties assigned by the supervisor.

• Comply with mandatory project safety requirements as outlined by the Company and OSHA.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in CAD drafting.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven ability to create, edit, and maintain drawings.

• Basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics.

• Capability to read construction drawings.

• Proficient in the use of computers, email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Exceptional customer relationship skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Keen attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow up effectively.

• Self-driven and capable of working independently.

• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
