This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Negotiate medical liens related to Workers' Compensation in accordance with unit guidelines within the in-house resolution unit.

• Represent client employers during hearings before the relevant judicial body.

• Manage all facets of research, file examination, and negotiation of outstanding medical liens.

• Prepare settlements for liens.

• Conduct lien negotiations, review upcoming hearings, and prepare necessary documentation to advocate for clients' interests; assist legal counsel regarding hearings; and appear before the judicial body on behalf of clients.

• Review state files to ensure company files are updated accordingly.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the workers' compensation field in a high client-contact role or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Proficiency in Workers' Compensation Labor Codes and WCAB Court procedures is essential.
