Business/Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• We are in search of a highly skilled INSTAANDA Solution Architect.

• Oversee the complete architecture and solution development for INSTAANDA-based insurance platforms.

• Define scalable, secure, and efficient solutions that align with business goals and enterprise architecture standards.

• Convert business requirements into solid technical solutions and architectural designs.

• Facilitate architecture reviews, design governance, and implementation of best practices across various projects.

• Assess and suggest technology solutions to meet changing business requirements.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in the Property and Casualty Insurance sector.

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to establish target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps.

• Provide expert guidance on: Policy Administration, Product Configuration, Underwriting, Claims Management, Billing & Collections, Distribution & Agency Management, and Regulatory Compliance.

• Propel business process optimization and digital modernization efforts.

• Lead the solutioning and implementation of INSTAANDA Policy Administration solutions.

• Design strategies for product configuration and reusable solution frameworks.

• Ensure maximum utilization of platform capabilities while reducing the need for customization.

• Offer architectural oversight for applications utilizing the Microsoft technology stack.

• Create enterprise-grade solutions incorporating: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework, Web APIs, Microservices Architecture, and Azure Services.

• Set development standards, coding guidelines, and performance optimization protocols.

• Define and enact enterprise integration strategies across both internal and external systems.

• Guarantee secure, scalable, and resilient integration frameworks.

• Work in collaboration with business leaders, product owners, and IT stakeholders across the US and European markets.

• Conduct architecture workshops and solution design sessions.

• Present solution strategies to executive leadership and clients.

• Mentor architects, developers, and offshore delivery teams.

• Establish architecture governance and quality assurance processes.

• Manage technology risks and ensure adherence to enterprise standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of IT experience with substantial involvement in Insurance technology solutions.

• Extensive experience in implementing and architecting the INSTAANDA Policy Administration Platform.

• Profound expertise in enterprise application architecture and solution design.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft technologies such as: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web APIs, Microservices, and Azure (preferred).

• Expertise in API-led and event-driven integration architectures.

• Experience with both cloud-native and hybrid architectures.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance operations.

• Experience in areas such as: Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, and Distribution Channels.

• Understanding of insurance regulatory and compliance regulations in North America and Europe.

• Significant experience in designing enterprise integrations.

• Practical knowledge of: REST APIs, SOAP Services, Message Queues, Middleware Solutions, Data Migration Frameworks, and Batch Processing Architectures.

• Proven experience collaborating with clients in the US and Europe.

• Strong consulting abilities, stakeholder management skills, and client-facing experience.

• Demonstrated experience leading global delivery teams and large-scale transformation initiatives.

• Capability to influence senior leadership and business stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
