This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Work closely with sales leaders and account teams to establish a value delivery strategy for key accounts.
• Interact with top prospects to discern, comprehend, and quantify their specific challenges and the potential advantages of dbt.
• Articulate and communicate the dbt Labs value proposition in accordance with customer goals.
• Conduct business value reviews/business cases: Effectively convey the realized business impacts and prospective economic benefits of new opportunities.
• Perform comprehensive analyses of customer workflows and processes, pinpointing opportunities for optimization and enhanced efficiency.
• Develop and present boardroom-quality, executive presentations. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to customize solutions that cater to the precise needs of our champions and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with dbt leadership to create new value-based go-to-market strategies that effectively demonstrate product value and expand deal sizes.
• Offer guidance on best practices and innovative methods to maximize the value of dbt Labs solutions.
• Facilitate training and workshops in partnership with dbt Labs enablement to enhance the quality of their discovery processes and their comprehension of business value & customer excellence.
• Design scalable programs and tools to bolster value selling across all aspects of the go-to-market ecosystem, including Pre-Sale teams, Professional Services, and Marketing.
• Contribute to shaping the future of the value engineering practice at dbt Labs by developing best practices and tools to enhance the adoption of value-based selling.
• Over 7 years of experience in value engineering, management consulting, or a similar customer-facing role.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in value-based selling methodologies.
• Proven track record of developing and presenting business cases to Economic Buyers and other executives.
• Proficient in identifying and prioritizing use cases, implementing improvement strategies, and acting as a change agent for dbt Labs customers through the establishment of a value delivery model.
• Capability to manage projects across various workstreams, including defining scope, expectations, timelines, and delivery. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
