Business Technology Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Formulate and analyze organizational objectives, policies, and procedures in relation to Corporate IT, information security, and SOC II compliance.

• Evaluate new vendors and engage in process enhancement initiatives.

• Acquire and organize the delivery of IT equipment.

• Oversee asset inventory management.

• Manage SaaS applications and their licensing.

• Work alongside technical leaders to guarantee that systems function within established security parameters.

• Examine project plans and coordinate related activities.

• Educate users on IT systems.

• Offer technical assistance when issues occur.

• Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Knowledge of operating systems (Mac and Windows).

• Expertise in scripting languages.

• Familiarity with GSuite, cloud automation, MDM, and various SaaS tools.

• Proficient in the installation and configuration of software and hardware, including networking equipment and printers.

• Exceptional organizational and coordination skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Eligibility to work for any employer in Portugal without the need for visa support currently or in the future.
