Business Technical Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver functional business insights and technical assistance to enterprise operations through scripting automation and data analytics.

• Design and develop new processes and reporting solutions.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for various departments or business units regarding business systems and applications.

• Evaluate claims processes and operational activities to enhance efficiency and minimize manual tasks.

• Execute technical design, development, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems and applications.

• Document development requirements and collaborate with end users for application testing and debugging.

• Create ad-hoc reports for data analysis and validation purposes.

• Assess operational procedures, trends, issues, requirements, and processes.

• Suggest technical alternative solutions to management.

• Investigate, evaluate, and analyze the financial implications of data and process-related issues.

• Develop multiuser, real-time, and robust database solutions.

• Offer business and technical knowledge in requirements gathering, system analysis, technical design, programming, and documentation.

• Track and report on departmental project status, identify risks, and implement corrective actions and mitigation strategies.

• Carry out other assigned duties while adhering to policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

• Equivalent professional experience in technical data analysis, facilitating system analysis meetings, creating system design documents, crafting project plans with achievable milestones and deadlines, and mediating various department needs to secure approvals on system scope and design.

• 2+ years of experience in relevant programming languages, including SAS, SQL, VB.NET, or Oracle, or comparable experience based on departmental needs.

• 3+ years of experience in business analysis related roles.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in the healthcare sector.

• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in ASP/ASP.NET.

• Preferred: Experience with Python, Jira, PowerBI, and/or Databricks.

• Preferred: SAS Certification.

• Preferred: A Master's degree in a relevant field may substitute for some required experience, not exceeding 2 years.
