Business Solutions Developer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develops, designs, configures, and constructs solutions to address common business challenges using various technological tools or programs.

• Engages in research and requirements gathering to assess customer needs, guiding strategy, and supervising the development process.

• Actively participates in the design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance phases.

• Writes code for software applications and programs utilizing inheritance and virtualization while adhering to best programming practices.

• Conducts in-depth research and analysis to identify optimal solutions for stakeholder requests or issues, employing the most effective methods or tools.

• Facilitates meetings to collect requirements and provide updates on ongoing projects.

• Maintains consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the solution development lifecycle.

• Collaborates with colleagues on development and solution strategy to pinpoint the most efficient and effective product solutions.

• Performs regular code reviews and requests.

• Undertakes additional duties as assigned.

• Adheres to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• 0-2 years of relevant experience in the field or a related area.

• Completion of a technical training program (e.g., LaunchCode, FDM, etc.) may be accepted in place of a Bachelor’s Degree.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.

• Fundamental understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

• Comfortable navigating a cloud-based technology environment.

• Strong skills in SQL and related frameworks.

• Familiarity with SQL, SSIS, or SSRS.
