This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Take ownership of our supplier management framework by enhancing supply chain mapping, monitoring supplier performance, and bolstering our resilience through a comprehensive understanding of our critical third-party relationships.
• Design, coordinate, and facilitate supplier failure scenario tests throughout the organization to evaluate our resilience levels.
• Assist in developing our first-line controls assurance program, contributing to the infrastructure that maintains a robust risk and control environment.
• Foster a culture of resilience across Griffin by collaborating closely with operations and technology teams to ensure it is a collective responsibility.
• Stay updated with our regulatory landscape, ensuring our program aligns with PRA/FCA requirements regarding operational resilience and supplier management.
• Play a role in the continuous enhancement of our operational resilience program as Griffin expands and the regulatory framework evolves.
• Tailor this position based on insights into customer needs and technical deficiencies.
• Proven experience in a regulated financial services setting, with a solid understanding of the operations of banks and financial institutions.
• Knowledge of PRA/FCA regulations concerning operational resilience and third-party/supplier management.
• Practical experience in supplier or third-party management, especially where these suppliers play a key role in delivering essential business services.
• Comfortable collaborating with technology teams. While you don't need to be an engineer, you should be able to converse effectively with them.
• A passion for writing, as you will contribute significantly to written documentation, which we prioritize for clarity and readability.
• Experience in developing or exercising business continuity plans (ideally).
• Understanding of EU DORA and its implications for financial services firms (ideally).
• Experience in Line 1.5 or first-line assurance (ideally).
• Remote-first flexibility: Work from anywhere in the UK.
• Work from abroad: Up to 20 days a year.
