This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Perform evaluations, analyses, and reengineering of business processes to align with the JTMS materiel solution.
• Execute BPR activities essential to the systems engineering process, facilitating mapping, use case development, end-to-end process modeling, and the detailed breakdown of functional and system requirements in accordance with approved IT system design, development, and modernization initiatives.
• Partner with stakeholders, including USTRANSCOM, JDDE, and other JTMS contractors, to ensure precise process documentation, validate requirements, and secure stakeholder endorsement.
• Assist in identifying and documenting discrepancies between existing processes and solution capabilities for COAs to clients.
• Aid in the execution of reengineered processes, ensuring accurate configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Investigate regulations to discern DOTmLPF-P impacts and formulate recommendations.
• Determine measurable and effective KPIs and additional metrics.
• Analyze business or systems processes to pinpoint SAP implementation opportunities and avenues for process automation, enhancement, and increased efficiency and auditability, while providing advice and recommendations to conduct Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Collaborate with program teams to convert requirements into Agile SAFe user stories, establish acceptance criteria, and formulate test scenarios; identify necessary user roles and access for each business process and develop role-specific testing scenarios.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation & Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Law, Computer Science, Engineering, Physical/Applied Sciences, or a management discipline such as Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Management Information Technology.
• Over 5 years of general experience in Business Process Reengineering, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of functional experience within USTRANSCOM Operations and Joint/Defense Transportation Systems.
• Proficient knowledge of Joint/Defense Transportation Regulations and the DOTmLPF-P framework.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate as a team member within a diverse group comprising contractors, government, and military personnel.
• Strong analytical, communication (both oral and written), and organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
• High attention to detail, especially concerning documentation and reporting.
• US Citizen capable of successfully passing a Tier 1 investigation.
