This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the project plan and the recurring schedule for the Marketing budget cycle, which includes planning, tracking, and reporting milestones in relation to time, scope, and budget constraints.
• Gather inputs from Marketing, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders while driving deadlines and managing dependencies.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, along with changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, and artifacts related to the budget cycle.
• Identify blockers and work towards their resolution.
• Oversee the Marketing budget through planning, tracking, reconciliation, and reporting cycles.
• Collaborate with Finance and FP&A during quarter close, accruals, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Provide strategic budget reporting for Marketing leadership.
• Manage the application for tracking Marketing’s activity-level budget, which includes configuration, bug triage, anomaly flagging, and ensuring compliance with usage.
• Track budget holdbacks, manage investment triage, and facilitate budget transfer workflows.
• Assist with vendor and procurement processes.
• Support annual planning processes, quarterly reviews, and leadership operating cadences.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that align with Business Operations priorities.
• Collaborate with Marketing leaders, FP&A, Procurement, IT, and other functional teams.
• Translate operational details into executive-level updates for Marketing leadership.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in business operations, marketing operations, finance operations, program management, or a similar operational role.
• Proven experience in supporting budget management, financial planning, or finance partnerships within a corporate environment.
• Capability to implement structure and systems in an ambiguous environment while balancing guidance with independent execution.
• Experience in creating professional updates, reports, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Regular demonstrated utilization of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar.
• Comfort in using AI tools for drafting, summarizing, automating, and synthesizing information.
• Proficiency in collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft 365, and Confluence.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or similar.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills when interacting with senior stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, and Procurement.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating across various business functions.
• Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Preferred: experience within B2B SaaS or technology marketing organizations.
• Preferred: familiarity with marketing functions such as demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, and branding.
• Preferred: experience collaborating with FP&A teams, assisting budget owners, or working in business operations.
• Preferred: understanding of procurement processes and vendor management workflows.
• Base salary ranging from $95K to $135K per year
• Bonus opportunity between $9.5K and $13.5K
