• Collaborate with business partners to collect, interpret, and document business requirements, including data discovery, policies, procedures, and analyses.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams such as Product, Client Delivery, Data Integration, Engineering, and Analytics to improve existing data workflows and processes.
• Assist in supporting technical teams and business stakeholders by translating intricate data concepts into clear, actionable insights.
• Use SQL and related tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making through reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems via data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Perform file testing during implementations to verify data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications.
• Conduct root cause analysis on complex data issues, ensuring findings are documented and integrated into process enhancements.
• Troubleshoot application or process-related issues, document findings, and propose solutions.
• Utilize Databricks and related data platforms to support, document, and optimize data workflows and pipelines.
• Navigate Azure DevOps to identify, track, and manage individual and team initiatives.
• Assist in automating and optimizing data-related tasks and reporting processes to enhance efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve data issues, performing root cause analysis with necessary guidance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Over 2 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, business systems analysis, or a similar role.
• Practical experience with SQL, Databricks, and Azure-based data environments.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in data validation, data quality, and maintaining data integrity across systems.
• Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and translating business and technical requirements.
• Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create clear and scalable data workflows, process documentation, and data definitions.
• Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to generate insightful reports and dashboards.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas for data analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
