Business Intelligence Specialist, Data Visualization

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, improve, and sustain analytical dashboards using Power BI (and/or Looker) that concentrate on product, operations, and business metrics;

• Oversee and advance data routines: extraction, transformation, validation, and consistency of information;

• Conduct analytical data modeling, ensuring efficient, scalable structures tailored for use by Product and Business teams;

• Utilize SQL extensively to analyze, transform, and optimize large datasets;

• Lead the gathering of requirements with Product, Data, Technology teams, and stakeholders, translating business needs into analytical solutions;

• Develop functional and technical documentation for dashboards, metrics, and data models;

• Enhance communication between various teams (Product, Engineering, Data, Business) on BI and Analytics initiatives;

• Ensure the BI environment complies with corporate IT standards, data best practices, and agile methodologies;

• Execute data storytelling, converting data into clear narratives for informed decision-making;

• Monitor and guarantee the quality, reliability, and governance of the data utilized in analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience (5 years) in creating Data Visualization and BI solutions;

• Expertise in Power BI and/or Looker for constructing interactive and scalable dashboards;

• Strong understanding of SQL and analytical data modeling;

• Familiarity with BigQuery (modeling, query optimization, and cost management);

• Experience in product-focused data environments (KPIs, funnels, operational metrics, user behavior, performance);

• Practical experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of translating technical data for varied audiences;

• Analytical abilities to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities within data;

• Knowledge of Python is a plus for exploratory analyses or automation.
