📋 Description

• The Manager of Business Intelligence is responsible for leading and developing a team of Commercial analysts who provide high-quality reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights to facilitate business decision-making.

• Exhibit robust project management capabilities to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple analytics initiatives concurrently.

• Guarantee the timely and high-quality delivery of dashboards, reports, and analyses that align with business priorities.

• Balance hands-on analytical tasks with team leadership, stepping in to address complex business challenges and guide analytical methodologies.

• Utilize structured problem-solving techniques to convert ambiguous business questions into clear, data-driven insights.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and translate them into actionable analytics specifications.

• Ensure that outputs are relevant, actionable, and directly linked to creating business value.

• Exhibit strong proficiency in data analysis, including advanced skills in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Possess the ability to design intuitive dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting and analytics outputs.

• Advocate for best practices in data governance, definitions, and standardization.

• Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and scale reporting and analytics procedures.

• Drive efficiencies that minimize manual efforts and enhance consistency.

• Consistently deliver insights that yield measurable business outcomes and guide decision-making.

• Clearly communicate findings through executive-ready summaries and recommendations.

• Establish and enforce standard processes, documentation, and governance for analytics delivery.

• Effectively lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Intelligence analysts, fostering a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate complex data into actionable insights and business recommendations.

• Highly effective communicator with strong storytelling and data visualization skills, capable of translating complex analyses into clear, compelling messages for business leaders.

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and driving execution among diverse stakeholder groups to support business objectives.

• Strong understanding of commercial operations, market dynamics, and CRO/life sciences business models, with the ability to apply industry knowledge to business decisions.

• Strong capability to align business priorities with technical solutions, translating business needs into practical analytical approaches and execution plans.

• Self-directed and collaborative, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and analytical details while driving clarity, alignment, and results.

• Advanced proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire, with the skill to apply these tools to solve business challenges and generate actionable insights.

• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, Power Query, automation, and modeling, utilized to support analysis, scenario planning, and decision-making.

• Advanced experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, leveraging system capabilities and commercial data to enhance pipeline visibility, opportunity management, and business decisions.
