Business Intelligence Engineer – Reporting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Join a dynamic and expanding Data Analytics team;

• Collaborate with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to identify necessary metrics, reports, and analytics for the organization;

• Design, architect, implement, and maintain essential datasets that ensure structured and timely access to actionable business insights, always considering the needs of end users;

• Extract and analyze data using SQL, Excel, and various data management & BI systems;

• Create queries for ad-hoc requests and projects, along with ongoing reporting;

• Oversee existing metrics and analyze data to address critical business inquiries in a data-driven manner;

• Utilize the latest AWS cloud technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6-7+ years of experience in Data/BI/Analytics/Reporting;

• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with a passion for empowering users to leverage data and metrics to validate assumptions, formulate business cases, and conduct root-cause analyses;

• Strong expertise in SQL, with advanced SQL capabilities;

• Familiarity with BI solutions such as QuickSight, Tableau, Qlikview, PowerBI, etc.;

• Experience in data modeling and reporting;

• Knowledge of various database engines, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc., is a significant advantage;

• Interest in and willingness to work with the latest AWS cloud-based tools and services;

• Highly proficient in both spoken and written English;

• A motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
