Business Intelligence Engineer – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and manage data models for analytics and reporting purposes.

• Create ETL/ELT workflows to facilitate BI dashboard development.

• Enhance SQL queries and improve reporting performance.

• Develop dashboards and high-level reports for executives.

• Convert business needs into technical data solutions.

• Execute data validation and adhere to governance best practices.

• Assist in cross-departmental analytics projects.

• Uphold documentation and standards for data lineage.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering.

• Proficient in SQL with a focus on query optimization.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Databricks.

• Experience in creating dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, with a preference for dimensional modeling.

• Background working in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

• Capability to translate business inquiries into analytical frameworks.

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders.
