Business Intelligence Analyst – Data Engineering Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Create and execute scalable, integrated data warehouse models that incorporate data from Business Central and various other sources.

• Build and sustain data pipelines utilizing Python, SQL, and contemporary ETL tools.

• Manage smaller client projects, encompassing requirements gathering and solution implementation.

• Work in partnership with reporting specialists to ensure data models effectively support business KPIs and visualization requirements.

• Specify and document transformation logic, data mappings, and warehouse specifications while adhering to modeling standards and governance practices.

• Assist with report development in Power BI and Jet Reports as necessary.

• Diagnose data quality issues and enhance the performance of data models.

• Utilize GitHub for version control, collaboration, and the documentation of data engineering workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering, BI development, or related fields.

• Familiarity with ERP data structures and warehouse modeling.

• Expertise in Python and SQL for data transformation and analytical purposes.

• Significant experience with Mage.AI, dbt, Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake, or Microsoft Fabric.

• Proficient in using GitHub for version control, collaboration, and workflow oversight.

• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling and the Kimball methodology.

• Experience with documentation, version control, and data governance practices.
