BI Engineer, Microsoft Fabric

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Business Intelligence solutions utilizing Microsoft Fabric.

• Construct and enhance Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and analytical solutions.

• Create data pipelines and transformation workflows.

• Develop semantic models and reporting solutions with Power BI.

• Integrate data from various enterprise systems.

• Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability across analytics platforms.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.

• Work closely with Data Engineers, Architects, and Analytics teams.

• Adhere to engineering best practices, including CI/CD and version control.

• Contribute to solution architecture and technical enhancements.

• For Lead-level candidates: offer technical leadership, mentor engineers, and assist in solution design and customer discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Commercial experience with Microsoft Fabric.

• Prior experience with Power BI and/or Data Engineering.

• Proven experience in creating Business Intelligence and analytics solutions.

• Proficient SQL skills.

• Background in developing semantic models and enterprise reporting solutions.

• Knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric workloads such as Lakehouse, Data Factory, Data Warehouse, and Power BI.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

• Fluent in English - C1.

• Nice to have:

• Familiarity with PySpark or Spark.

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or Azure Synapse Analytics.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Purview.

• Certifications in Microsoft Fabric or Power BI.

• Experience with Azure cloud services.

• Experience in designing scalable enterprise analytics platforms.
