This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Design, develop, and sustain BI dashboards and data models under the guidance of senior team members.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to ensure financial and operational data is accurate, timely, and well-governed.
• Transform complex datasets into actionable visualizations and reports for stakeholders without technical backgrounds.
• Aid in minimizing manual reporting processes and enhance self-service analytics capabilities.
• Take ownership of specific BI projects from gathering requirements to testing and deployment phases.
• Explore AI-enhanced BI tools and disseminate insights learned with the BI team.
• Facilitate data-driven decision-making across teams such as Finance, Revenue Operations, Product Management, and others.
• A Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related area.
• Over 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering BI dashboards and data models for corporate reporting and decision-making support.
• A strong sense of curiosity, eagerness to learn, and the ability to ask pertinent questions and follow up.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a readiness to navigate challenges with team support.
• Interest in AI/ML applications in analytics; hands-on experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
• Openness to receiving feedback and making rapid iterations.
• Advanced skills in SQL and DAX for data modeling and complex analytics.
• Strong expertise in Power BI, including Power Query / M.
• Familiarity with BI development practices, version control using GitHub, and CI/CD for report deployment.
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift and S3 or similar.
• Understanding of enterprise data architecture and governance principles.
• Experience with Amazon Quick or QuickSight is a plus.
• Familiarity with Amazon SageMaker Unified Studio is advantageous.
• Experience in supporting large BI projects, including forecasting, variance analysis, or performance dashboards is a bonus.
• Exposure to AI/ML applications in analytics is advantageous.
• Experience with Jira or similar project and task-tracking tools is a plus.
