Business Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver engaging, student-focused live online courses over an 11-week period.

• Create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere that encourages active participation and learning.

• Provide prompt, constructive feedback and address student inquiries within a 24-hour timeframe.

• Conduct weekly office hours to enhance student comprehension and foster community.

• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to jointly manage the course, including guiding them on effective grading and student engagement techniques.

• Assess student performance, keep grade records, and submit evaluations at mid-quarter and the end of the quarter.

• Partner with colleagues and Campus staff to exchange best practices and enhance instructional methods.

• Contribute to co-curricular activities (e.g., speaker series, networking events) to enhance the student experience.

• Stay updated on trends in industry and pedagogy relevant to your subject area and online teaching, particularly in the effective use of AI tools integrated into our curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s degree in your field of expertise.

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the college or university level.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and video conferencing software.

• Digital literacy and the capability to effectively integrate AI-driven educational tools into your teaching.

• Proactive, dependable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality online education.

• A commitment to equity, access, and support for students from diverse backgrounds.

• Availability to dedicate 8-10 hours per week per course, with some flexibility for training sessions.
