This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Rhode Island.
• Oversee and manage employment-related immigration issues from the initial stages to filing and completion.
• Compose petitions, applications, support letters, forms, and filing packages for attorney evaluation.
• Prepare documentation for H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, H-4, L-2, E-2 dependent, PERM, I-140, Adjustment of Status, and other employment-based immigration cases.
• Engage directly with foreign nationals, HR representatives, managers, and client contacts regarding case needs, timelines, and status updates.
• Review case documents and pinpoint any missing information or potential issues that need attorney assessment.
• Compile and organize supporting documents and exhibits for filing submissions.
• Monitor case deadlines, expirations, and government processing milestones to ensure timely submissions and follow-ups.
• Aid in the preparation of responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs), and other government inquiries.
• Keep organized and legally compliant electronic case files and records.
• Take part in client calls, status meetings, and internal discussions on case strategy as required.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and team members to identify opportunities for process enhancements and ensure excellent client service.
• Maintain precise case notes and documentation within the firm's case management systems.
• Remain updated on changes in immigration processes, agency notifications, and firm protocols.
• Engage in mandatory training and professional development activities.
• 1–4 years of experience in business immigration within a law firm or corporate immigration setting.
• Experience in preparing a high volume of NIV and IV matters for corporate clients.
• Proficiency in H-1B, L-1A/L-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, PERM, I-140, and Adjustment of Status case preparation.
• Skilled in drafting immigration support letters and assembling complex filing packages.
• Ability to communicate directly with foreign nationals and HR or global mobility professionals.
• Capable of managing multiple active cases simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
• Familiarity with immigration case management systems such as INSZoom, Docketwise, LawLogix, or similar tools.
