This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Analyze legal work related to employment-based and business immigration issues.
• Evaluate the legal analysis for precision, thoroughness, and practical application.
• Determine if suggested methods accurately reflect the relevant immigration regulations.
• Detect significant legal mistakes, omissions, or unfounded conclusions.
• Utilize practical judgment rooted in business immigration practices.
• Review cases involving L-1B specialized-knowledge classifications.
• Assess supporting facts, eligibility arguments, and documentation.
• Analyze cases concerning blanket L visa eligibility.
• Evaluate organizational and employee eligibility factors.
• Review L-1B blanket consular processing documentation.
• Assess supporting documents and legal arguments.
• Examine a comprehensive business immigration case and its relevant documents.
• Review six blinded legal outputs labeled A–F.
• Conduct five direct comparisons against a common comparator output.
• Identify stronger responses based on substantive legal quality.
• Provide concise and specific reasoning for each preference decision.
• Adhere to project guidelines and evaluation criteria consistently.
• Licensed attorney with substantial professional experience in business immigration law.
• Extensive experience with L-1B visa matters.
• Strong background in specialized-knowledge analysis.
• Significant experience with blanket L eligibility.
• Proven experience in consular processing.
• Comprehensive experience in reviewing business immigration petitions.
• Capable of evaluating legal work comprehensively for accuracy, completeness, judgment, and practicality.
• Strong analytical skills in immigration law.
• Excellent written English skills.
• Comfortable comparing various legal strategies and articulating preference decisions.
• Able to work independently while following detailed written instructions and meeting deadlines.
• All project work is subject to NDA and confidentiality obligations.
• External AI tools must not be utilized on project materials.
• Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, or third party.
• Fully remote work opportunities.
• Part-time independent contractor arrangement.
• Approximately 6 hours of work throughout the engagement.
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on needs and performance.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this engagement.
