This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Thoroughly prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters.

• Cultivate an expert-level comprehension of client cases, which includes preparing immigrant/non-immigrant petitions with a deep understanding of the application process and requirements, especially in EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs.

• Oversee multiple projects and deadlines while preparing and revising documents.

• Clearly articulate legal terminology to clients in a timely and concise manner.

• Investigate unique legal issues by identifying relevant statutes and judicial decisions.

• Remain informed on legislative changes that could impact immigration.

• Formulate solutions to intricate legal questions.

• Provide training to client companies and individuals on substantive legal topics and updates regarding new immigration laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, resolve client concerns, and support all client projects.

• Frequently and effectively communicate with clients and foreign nationals about procedural and case processing issues, as well as case strategy.

• Have the capability to assess the eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status in the U.S.

• Work alongside distinguished global mobility personnel and the office of general counsel, which will involve preparing petitions and applications for submission to the Department of Labor (DOL) and the esteemed United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for non-immigrant and immigrant status for foreign national employees.

• Supervise the paralegal staff's work in record keeping and document preparation to ensure accuracy.


⛳️ Requirements

• Hold a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school, demonstrate a strong academic background, and be admitted to a U.S. state bar in good standing.

• 1-2 years of experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs is advantageous.

• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.

• Exceptional organizational skills.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Strong time management and attention to detail, along with the ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume law firm environment.

• Flexibility and eagerness to learn across various practice areas.

• High-level organizational aptitude.

• Robust analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.

• Capacity to independently manage daily tasks, proactively, and with minimal supervision.
