
Business Engagement Lead – Finance Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the trusted advisor and primary point of contact for leadership within the Finance Operations function.
• Ensure that IT investments and initiatives are closely aligned with Finance strategies and business objectives.
• Establish trust and promote strategic discussions between the Finance and Technology teams.
• Accurately capture, elicit, and document Finance business requirements with precision.
• Convert business needs into actionable requirements, ensuring coherence with enterprise architecture.
• Transfer requirements to technical delivery teams while continuously providing insights and serving as the business representative during design and build phases.
• Oversee and manage Finance products and capability roadmaps, ensuring that priorities are transparent, sequenced, and attainable.
• Define Finance capabilities, processes, and models to create a framework for aligning initiatives with enterprise strategy.
• Take ownership of all business outcomes delivered by BSGIT for the Finance Operations function.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to guarantee that the solutions provided yield measurable business benefits.
• Serve as the main liaison with Finance leadership, ensuring that business needs and priorities are consistently represented.
• Over 10 years of experience in business engagement, product management, or finance-technology partnership roles within Financial Services, Insurance, or Technology sectors.
• Proven history of owning business outcomes for Finance while collaborating with technology delivery (not responsible for technical delivery).
• Experience in leading a small team of Business Engagement resources and coordinating outcomes across Finance Operations.
• Demonstrated capability to translate intricate Finance needs into clear, testable requirements and to manage capability/product roadmaps effectively.
• Hands-on experience working alongside ERP/EPM and Finance transformation initiatives.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or relevant product/analysis certifications.
