This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Ensure that priorities within the designated scope are effectively managed while implementing the Business Line strategy throughout the region to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Play a significant role in shaping the North America (NAM) growth strategy for Power Monitoring and assist in its execution and implementation.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Business Line and NAM, voicing the concerns of NAM within the Business Line while also representing the Business Line's interests in the region.
• Identify necessary adaptations and enhancements to the current offerings to better align with local customer requirements and regulations/standards; conduct profitability analyses to present business plans to the BL marketing team.
• Contribute to the annual “Performance” plan and local structuring, including customer action plans, communication strategies, and commercial plans.
• Discover new end-user segments, applications, and/or channels.
• Assist country/region marketing teams in advocacy efforts with local regulatory and standardization organizations.
• Identify growth objectives related to new offerings: conduct market analysis (PAM), establish target market share, develop pricing strategies, determine key success factors (training, specifications, business model evolution), and represent the region in the project process.
• Ensure and support the introduction of new products (4Ps).
• Aid countries in major communication and prescription events such as trade shows and client seminars.
• Engage in the S&OP process and highlight significant changes.
• Assist in identifying and constructing new profitable growth opportunities: support market intelligence initiatives, including evaluations of TAM/PAM/SAM (LISA tool).
• Contribute to the development of growth plans: expanding PAM, identifying key success factors, adapting the business model/documenting profitability analyses, and supporting implementation.
• Regularly review pricing with countries/marketing and suggest significant adjustments in pricing strategy (or discount policies). Measure the impact of these changes.
• An engineering degree or a minimum of 10 years of work experience in the low voltage electrical or energy sector; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
• 4 to 10 years of Sales or Marketing experience in B2B within an international context.
• Strong expertise in Power Monitoring is essential (hardware/software/communication protocols).
• Required international exposure.
• In-depth application knowledge of metering and monitoring across various vertical segments in the low voltage market.
• Proficient analytical and synthesis skills (business planning, market analysis).
• Experience in market segmentation and customer targeting.
• Knowledge and management of offerings.
• Proficient in price management.
• Familiarity with business models.
• Triple competence in Marketing, Sales, and Technical aspects.
• Strong customer focus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills (influencing, convincing, motivating).
• Travel is anticipated to be around 50% of the time (2 to 3 trips per month).
