
Business Development β Sales Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
β’ You will manage the active sales of our packaging products and solutions to international clients, taking full responsibility for achieving assigned revenue and margin targets.
β’ You will develop and manage new and existing clients through independent acquisition, initially focusing on the Balkan countries (Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Greece, and surrounding areas) with prospects for expansion into North Africa and the United Arab Emirates.
β’ You will regularly visit clients on-site, participate in industry fairs, and conduct technical and commercial presentations, providing personalized consultancy on the most suitable solutions for their needs.
β’ You will prepare comprehensive offers, independently negotiate pricing and contracts, and successfully finalize negotiations.
β’ You will coordinate with the internal team β customer service, technical office, and production β to ensure timely order fulfillment and manage post-sale relationships, identifying cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
β’ You will plan revenue by market and client, collaborate on the forecasting and budgeting process, and prepare market penetration scenarios to support strategic decision-making.
β’ You will create tailored company profiles and strategic presentations while maintaining accurate documentation of sales activities.
β’ You hold a degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
β’ You have at least 3 years of experience, ideally in the packaging sector (films, plastics, paper, etc.), international sales, strategic consultancy, or similar roles focused on market analysis/business development.
β’ You are familiar with the markets of the Balkans or are highly motivated to develop skills in these areas, with the willingness to travel approximately 30-50% of the time.
β’ You reside in the Bologna, Modena, Verona area, or the Triveneto region (remote position, but based in these territories).
β’ You possess effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
β’ You speak fluent English, both written and spoken β an essential requirement to operate effectively in an international context.
β’ Proficiency in additional languages (particularly those of the Balkan region) will be considered a plus.
