📋 Description

• We are looking for a Business Development Representative to expand our client base by proactively engaging new prospects and creating opportunities for quotes. This approach is aimed at Business Development Representatives (BDRs) who will focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with approximately 100 or more employees, especially those interested in enhancing supply chain resilience or seeking partners for new product development. By developing a robust sales pipeline, BDRs will contribute to maintaining a consistent influx of clients for both the Chinese and Thai facilities.

• **As a BDR, your proactive strategy will emphasize:**

• - Identifying and engaging SMEs in sectors that align with the client’s manufacturing capabilities.

• - Utilizing tailored outreach methods, such as cold emails, phone calls, and LinkedIn interactions.

• - Enhancing credibility through impactful content and case studies.

• - Working in tandem with the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team to amplify outreach initiatives.

• **Target Market Segmentation:**

• ***U.S.-Based SMEs:***

• - Focus: Companies exporting to the U.S. that are looking to outsource simpler or mid-scale projects to the Thai facility. As the Thai facility evolves, the focus can transition to more complex products.

• ***Non-U.S. Clients:***

• - Focus: Global companies exporting outside the U.S. that require sophisticated manufacturing solutions from the Chinese facility.

• ***Industry Focus:***

• - Target sectors include consumer electronics, fitness equipment, industrial components, and other industries that demand reliable supply chain solutions and innovative manufacturing partners.

• ***Decision-Maker Profiles:***

• - Key roles to target comprise supply chain managers, engineering leads, operations directors, and CEOs to ensure outreach is directed at essential stakeholders.

• **Sales Outreach Channels and Tactics**

• ***Cold Email Campaigns:***

• - Personalized Messaging: Customize emails to address the specific challenges faced by SMEs, underscoring the client’s strengths: flexibility, tariff reduction, and expertise in managing complex projects.

• - Sequencing: Implement multi-step email sequences with follow-ups to enhance response rates.

• - Conversion Goal: Schedule initial discovery calls to qualify leads and gauge their needs.

• ***LinkedIn Prospecting:***

• - Profile Optimization: Improve the client’s LinkedIn presence to draw in and engage prospects.

• - Connection Requests and Messaging: Send succinct, value-oriented messages to connect with decision-makers and present the client’s offerings.

• - Content Sharing: Disseminate relevant material, such as blogs, case studies, and success stories, to build credibility and foster trust.

• ***Lead Nurturing and Follow-Up:***

• - Email Drip Campaigns: Keep leads engaged through regular, value-driven email sequences.

• - Educational Content: Provide resources like whitepapers, guides, and insights on supply chain migration and manufacturing in Thailand.

• **Sales Goals and Metrics**

• - Quoting Opportunities: Aim to generate 2-3 quoting opportunities per month through outbound initiatives.

• - Engagement Metrics: Monitor email open rates, response rates, and success in LinkedIn connections.

• - Pipeline Growth: Cultivate a solid pipeline with a balanced mix of prospects for both the Chinese and Thai facilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• - **Sales Experience:** 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation, ideally in a B2B context.

• - **Industry Knowledge:** Experience in sales within **consumer goods** and **consumer electronics** industries is highly desirable.

• - **Communication Skills:** Proficient written and verbal communication skills for crafting personalized outreach messages and engaging with decision-makers.

• - **Tools Proficiency:** Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation tools.

• - **Research Abilities:** Capability to research industries, identify key prospects, and analyze market trends.

• - **Goal-Oriented:** Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding quotas and KPIs.

• - **Time Management:** Strong organizational skills to effectively manage outreach sequences, follow-ups, and lead nurturing campaigns.

• - **Collaboration:** Ability to work closely with sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights.

• - **Adaptability:** Willingness to modify outreach strategies based on performance metrics and evolving business needs.

• **Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:**

• - **Internet Connection:**

• - Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of **15 Mbps**.

• - Backup internet connection with at least **10 Mbps**.

• - Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.

• - **Primary Device:**

• - Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
