This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Engaging in hunting and outbound activities, including account mapping within large enterprise or commercial organizations, while securing meetings with employees at all levels, from C-Level executives to data analysts.

• Conducting outbound prospecting into designated accounts: The ideal candidate should possess experience in targeting Enterprise or Commercial clients, identifying key decision-makers, comprehending their challenges, and securing sales-qualified opportunities.

• Proficient in selling to Fortune 100 companies.

• Experienced in delivering pitches to VP-level and individual contributor audiences.

• Show a keen interest in the data challenges and pain points faced by our Enterprise and Commercial clients, while being able to effectively introduce what Fivetran offers at both the enterprise and commercial levels, with the primary objective of fostering valuable engagements with our account executives.

• Collaborate across functions with Enterprise or Commercial Account Executives, Marketing, and Alliances to stimulate pipeline generation and surpass revenue targets.

• Adhere to established sales strategies (and at times create and execute their own) to expand business and achieve account acquisition objectives (the methodology).

• Master the Fivetran consultative approach, Command of the Message, and Challenger sales methodologies by utilizing pre-designed cadences based on Industry, Persona, Use Case, while incorporating personalization.

• Develop personalized cadences tailored to specific accounts and use cases, following targeted plays designed for the team (e.g., Snowflake customers, SAP, or HVR use cases).

• Organize, document activities, and categorize sales lead information within Salesforce.com.

• To support new hires in achieving success, all incoming sales team members participate in a one-week, in-person Revenue Bootcamp during their second week at Fivetran. This bootcamp, conducted at one of our designated company locations, necessitates travel and is a mandatory component of the onboarding process.

• Proven experience in cold calling.

• Bilingual with excellent written and verbal communication skills (proper grammar required).

• Strong understanding of the enterprise or commercial data landscape.
