This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.
• Identify and create new business opportunities through cold calling, email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and focused account prospecting.
• Engage and identify DTC and B2B brands that require compliant fulfillment and logistics solutions.
• Build and sustain a qualified pipeline of potential customers within regulated product sectors.
• Generate leads by understanding customer needs, operational demands, and decision-making processes.
• Conduct preliminary discovery discussions and facilitate the transition of qualified opportunities to senior sales team members for deeper sales conversations and closing efforts.
• Assist account-based sales strategies aimed at key customers and emerging markets.
• Ensure consistent communication with prospects throughout the initial sales process.
• Work in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams to prepare for onboarding and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
• Keep precise CRM records, update pipelines, track prospect activities, and compile sales reports.
• Stay informed about state-specific regulations concerning hemp, nicotine products, and other regulated items.
• Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and virtual conferences as necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, lead generation, or a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in outbound prospecting and pipeline creation.
• Strong skills in cold calling, email outreach, and building relationships.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient understanding of DTC and B2B fulfillment, including pick/pack, shipping, and inventory processes.
• Familiarity with regulated goods (nicotine, hemp, alcohol beverages, pharmaceuticals, or comparable) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of compliance issues across state lines, or the capacity to swiftly learn regulatory requirements.
• Capable of clearly conveying moderately complex concepts to prospective customers.
• Organized, self-driven, and able to manage pipeline and sales activities autonomously.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
• Experience with CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
