This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Interact with prospects to assess and qualify potential customers for the Account Executive team.
• Acquire a solid understanding of the utility sector, including DERs, DERMS, demand response, and decarbonization efforts.
• Conduct research to identify organizations that fit Virtual Peaker’s ideal customer profile.
• Design, implement, and refine multi-channel outbound campaigns.
• Engage with and qualify both inbound leads and outbound prospects.
• Collaborate effectively with Sales and Marketing teams.
• Assist in Marketing events through outreach and participation.
• Ensure accurate and current records are maintained within CRM and related tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required.
• Preferred 2+ years of experience in sales/business development.
• Strong business-to-business communication and prospecting abilities.
• Excellent active listening and relationship-building skills.
• Strong research, organizational, and time-management capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Experience with using and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
• Basic knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) is advantageous.
