This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead the development of the Brazilian market from the ground up as the company's inaugural local hire.
• Create the company's first recurring revenue stream in Brazil through active prospecting, conducting demos, negotiating deals, and closing sales.
• Establish and oversee a qualified pipeline across sectors including Forestry, Agro, Carbon Projects, Government, Conservation NGOs, and related fields.
• Tailor the existing commercial strategy to fit the Brazilian market and implement it with a high degree of autonomy.
• Forge local partnerships to enhance sales, drive referrals, and strengthen ecosystem presence.
• Serve as the company's representative at pertinent events, congresses, industry meetups, and face-to-face commercial opportunities in Brazil.
• Collaborate closely with the global team on technical transitions, client onboarding, and ensuring customer success.
• Recruit and onboard the first local Sales Development Representative once revenue targets are met.
• Must be a Brazilian native currently residing in Brazil; this is a non-negotiable requirement.
• Mid-Senior or Senior commercial profile with substantial B2B sales experience.
• Demonstrated hunter mentality, showcasing a strong track record in prospecting, market entry, and building a pipeline from the ground up.
• Experience in selling to at least one relevant sector: Forestry, Agro, Carbon Projects, Government, Insurance, NGOs, Climate, or Environmental Services.
• Proven success in commercial execution, with the ability to manage the entire sales cycle independently.
• Highly self-sufficient, driven, and comfortable operating without an established local commercial framework.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, with an active network in at least one relevant industry.
• Fluent in native Portuguese and proficient in Spanish, as daily interactions with the global team will be conducted in Spanish.
• Disciplined in the use of CRM systems, pipeline management, and weekly forecasting.
• Sincerely passionate about environmental impact, wildfire prevention, and biodiversity conservation.
• Quick to adapt, transparent, and comfortable in a high-expectation startup environment.
