Business Development Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Identify businesses with high potential that align well with MariaDB's objectives.

• Build your territory through a mix of inbound marketing lead qualification and outbound prospecting efforts.

• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to create and execute inbound and outbound campaigns from concept through to qualified calls.

• Arrange sales discovery calls with potential clients and MariaDB Account Executives.

• Engage with IT and business decision-makers through phone and email communications.

• Keep Salesforce updated with lead and prospect activities to facilitate effective lead management.

• Schedule qualified introductory meetings for the Sales team.

• Surpass monthly and quarterly opportunity quotas.

• Foster strong relationships with the marketing team and Account Executives to collectively enhance our business success.

• Commit to your personal development by honing the skills and attributes necessary for success in your primary role and for future advancement.

• Track and manage daily activities using tools such as Salesforce and Salesloft.


⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in B2B Business Development.

• Excellent communication and listening abilities.

• Self-motivated with a proven history of achieving and surpassing targets.

• Strong time management skills with the capacity to work independently or with guidance.

• Familiarity with Salesforce.com and Salesloft is preferred.

• Eagerness to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Enthusiastic about innovative technology with the capability to learn new and exciting IT software products.

• Bachelor's degree is required.

• A valuable additional asset: bilingual English proficiency (English plus one other European language, preferably German, French, or Arabic).
