This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.
• Promptly respond to all incoming Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) within your designated territory.
• Assess inbound leads for alignment with Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), workload compatibility, storage capacity, environment, and project timelines.
• Schedule and verify qualified meetings for Account Executives.
• Clearly document all research findings and call notes in the CRM system.
• Research and pinpoint target accounts utilizing intent data, account signals, and MinIO's intelligence systems.
• Implement tailored outbound sequences through email, phone, and LinkedIn aimed at infrastructure, data engineering, and AI/ML professionals in Korean enterprises.
• Formulate strategies to transition MinIO's open-source user base into commercial clients within the Korean market.
• Collaborate effectively with Account Executives and the marketing team.
• Act as the primary responder for website live chat inquiries.
• Interact with prospects in real-time to grasp use cases and urgency.
• Follow up on leads generated from paid media campaigns targeting the Korean market.
• Establish multi-threaded outreach efforts into target accounts.
• Provide continuous feedback to sales and marketing regarding prospect sentiment, objections, and market dynamics specific to Korea.
• 2–4 years of experience in Business Development Representative (BDR)/Sales Development Representative (SDR), inside sales, or demand generation within the B2B technology sector.
• Required: full professional proficiency in Korean and English (both written and spoken).
• Proven track record in prospecting Korean enterprises or local subsidiaries of international companies.
• Experience with outbound sequencing tools and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach).
• Knowledge of data infrastructure, cloud storage, AI/ML, or related enterprise software.
• Familiarity with enterprise sales cycles and qualification methodologies.
• Understanding of Korean business culture and enterprise purchasing dynamics.
• Self-motivated with robust research skills and a data-driven approach to prospecting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
