This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Achieve sales and profitability targets consistently.
• Engage, follow-up, qualify, and manage leads and opportunities using Salesforce.com.
• Present product and service solutions to clients effectively.
• Utilize structured account planning to foster client relationships, boost customer satisfaction, and enhance account penetration.
• Collaborate with account executives on cross-selling and upselling opportunities; identify additional buyers within accounts and understand their needs to tailor suitable offerings.
• Provide accurate and regular updates on sales forecasts and opportunity funnels.
• Engage in industry organizations such as ISSA, ISACA, OWASP, among others.
• Collaborate with GuidePoint Security vendors to comprehend and promote their technologies, clearly articulating their value propositions to clients.
• Support marketing efforts in driving attendance at GuidePoint events and initiatives.
• Represent GuidePoint Consultants to clients, effectively communicating our areas of expertise.
• Set appropriate expectations and maintain transparent communication with clients and vendors throughout the sales process lifecycle.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 2-4 years of inside sales experience in the IT sector is required, with a preference for experience in Information Security.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.com is necessary.
• Certifications related to network security vendors are preferred.
• Experience in the current enterprise security landscape is preferred.
• Strong, established relationships with key accounts in the territory are preferred.
• A verifiable record of surpassing sales targets and generating leads is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in lead generation and acquiring new accounts is required.
• Experience in selling professional services, security audits, and assessments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with all organizational levels are essential.
