This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Implement outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified meetings and a robust pipeline within your designated territory.
• Engage in high-level discovery discussions with target accounts to comprehend their business needs, qualify opportunities, and create Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs).
• Achieve or surpass monthly and quarterly BDR-sourced Sales Accepted Opportunity (SAO) targets by effectively converting qualified prospects into opportunities.
• Investigate and prioritize target accounts utilizing business and industry insights to identify key players, uncover significant events, and devise customized outreach strategies.
• Execute a multi-touch outreach strategy (including calls, emails, social media, etc.) to all prospects in your assigned territory using Outreach.io to enhance engagement and conversion rates.
• Manage, track, and accurately report all prospecting activities and pipeline in Salesforce to ensure clear visibility into performance and forecasting.
• Collaborate with Field, Corporate, and Digital Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to create targeted account lists, campaigns, and calling strategies, and participate in regional marketing events to engage attendees, generate leads, and drive qualified Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs).
• Document and continually enhance Business Development Representative processes in the GitLab handbook, in conjunction with your Business Development Manager, and mentor new BDR hires to facilitate their quick ramp-up and navigation of key accounts.
• Positive and energetic phone demeanor, exceptional listening abilities, and strong writing skills.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
• Proven track record of taking initiative and independently driving projects or activities to successful completion.

• Understanding of business processes, roles, and organizational structures.
• Demonstrated tenacity in pursuing goals, learning from challenges, and continuously improving to achieve impressive results.

• Proficient in utilizing Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Previous experience in the tech industry or in sales development, marketing, or sales is advantageous.
