This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Accountable for leading the sales initiatives of their team and guiding efforts to achieve optimal profitability and growth in alignment with the company's vision.
• Acts as the representative of the team both internally and externally; ensures the department consistently surpasses expectations from vendors and customers alike.
• Oversees workforce management by making decisions regarding workload and establishing priorities for the team.
• Regularly suggests operational enhancements, contributes to strategic goals, and oversees team efficiency.
• Precisely predicts and drives teams to handle opportunities and sales effectively.
• Manages the sales and strategic objectives for the sales teams and formulates tactical solutions to meet or exceed these goals.
• Conducts field sales account visits and supplier evaluations to provide leadership aimed at achieving maximum profitability and growth.
• Oversees manager and employee development, including recruitment, hiring, training, performance evaluations, salary management, daily coaching and feedback, goal setting, development planning, and performance management.
• Proactively and progressively addresses development and performance challenges.
• Fosters a high-performing team environment.
• Directs strategies that inspire sales teams to achieve sales targets and deliver results.
• Maintains relationships with senior-level contacts at customers, suppliers, and Arrow corporate.
• Undertakes assigned projects and drives corporate initiatives.
• Makes informed decisions on strategy and direction through data analysis and relevant experience.
• Directs value-added sales opportunities by implementing supply chain, engineering, supplier, or service excellence strategies.
• Identifies and assists in achieving branch objectives.
• Develops relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors: Enhances Arrow's reputation by providing service excellence and process efficiencies.
• Participates in reviews and meetings.
• Enhances management presence at customer accounts to gain access to all levels of decision-makers.
• Implements effective and practiced techniques for problem-solving.
• Communicates effectively with senior-level contacts across customers, suppliers, and Arrow corporate.
• Generally requires a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience with a 4-year degree; or 6 years with an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in roles with external customer-facing responsibilities.
• Knowledge of the Electronics Industry.
• Willingness to travel within the designated region.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; must be fluent in English.
• Capability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to swiftly and effectively shift priorities and manage high-volume workloads.
• Self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work setting.
