This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Identify, establish, and expand strategic alliances with payment service providers, acquirers, and high-volume merchants within key industries, facilitating rapid growth of the regional merchant network and transaction volume.
• Take ownership of the entire enterprise sales process, encompassing prospecting, cold outreach, pitching, commercial structuring, contract negotiation, KYB coordination, and the execution of cross-functional integration to speed up go-live timelines.
• Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with senior decision-makers at PSPs, acquirers, and major merchants, utilizing regulatory positioning and market credibility to unlock partnerships within traditional payment infrastructures.
• Craft and implement regional expansion strategies that focus on high-impact sectors such as gaming, iGaming, trading platforms, e-commerce, OTAs, and digital services, while also identifying emerging opportunities in underrepresented markets.
• Work in close collaboration with Product, Integration, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing teams to adapt solutions, enhance onboarding processes, and create joint go-to-market initiatives that promote merchant adoption and drive GMV growth.
• Assess merchant performance and partnership data to segment accounts, refine commercial terms, boost profitability, and maximize long-term leverage within the ecosystem.
• Continually assess the competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to refine regional strategies and support global payment distribution expansion.
• Monitor and achieve ambitious KPIs, including growth of the merchant base, targets for acquirer onboarding, and measurable increases in transaction volume.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated enterprise-level business development experience, with the capability to engage and negotiate with C-suite executives and manage complex, multi-party partnerships.
• A strong existing network within PSPs, acquirers, payment processors, or financial institutions in the designated region.
• Proven ability to operate within regulated environments, navigating compliance and reputational considerations when forming partnerships.
• Commercially savvy, resilient, and execution-focused, with the capacity to generate momentum in high-growth, expansion-oriented settings without relying on established infrastructure.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret merchant performance data and convert insights into scalable partnership strategies.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for coordinating with international partners and stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages, such as Portuguese, would be advantageous.
