This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Accountable for promoting the growth of WM Sustainability Services by developing and delivering unique value propositions and proposals.

• Conducts research on competitive markets to identify new opportunities and technologies.

• Formulates and implements a business plan focused on prospecting and closing sales within a collaborative team environment.

• Collaborates closely with WM internal teams to nurture existing accounts and initiate new account implementations.

• Efficiently manages prospects by crafting effective marketing plans and keeping essential information updated in the prospect database.

• Maintains a sales pipeline to meet goals for new sales.

• Aligns services with customer requirements by showcasing knowledge of customer needs, pricing structures, and competitive landscape.

• Identifies partner suppliers and maintains a database of potential projects based on competitive market assessments.

• Engages with WM business segment partners to address unique customer challenges.

• Conducts feasibility studies to assess current and potential infrastructure, competitive pricing, permitting, and operational conditions.

• Performs market analyses and offers strategic recommendations.

• Builds a network of industry contacts to uncover potential projects.

• Prepares proposals for third parties and manages contract negotiations through to completion.

• Stays informed about external market trends, sustainability issues, internal sales strategies, and operational capabilities.

• Develops and presents effective, customized sales presentations and proposals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related "Green" curriculum; or alternatively,

• A High School Diploma or GED (accredited) combined with four years of relevant work experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in marketing and/or business development within the services industry (in addition to the educational requirements).
